Y5 Trip to Parliament

Year 5 children have been looking at Parliament and Democracy in PSHE this term. They have even held their own mock House of Commons Debate in class! To consolidate and bring their learning in school to life, the children toured Parliament where excellent guides explained the history and workings of Parliament in situ. 5S even got to observe a REAL debate, while 5P received acknowledgement from The Speaker during the procession into PM's Question Time! Parliament staff were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm and thoughtful contributions of our children. Well done Year 5!
