Our Year 6 pupils had an incredible week in Spain on their residential trip.
They left school early on Monday morning and hit the beach as soon as they arrived, playing football and volleyball and enjoying a dip in the sea.
After a good night's sleep they went on a glass-bottom boat trip followed by archery on the beach.
On day 2 they enjoyed a Spanish themed scavenger hunt, as well as some productive Spanish lessons, learning some nautical vocabulary in preparation for their water-sports session in the afternoon.
The next day they conquered the waters with kayaking, explored a stunning castle and surrounding town before ending the day with delicious ice cream.
A brilliant last full day in Spain saw the pupils having a 'tasty' vocab lesson, learning how to make delicious chocolate coconut bites from entirely Spanish instructions.
They rounded off the day with aqua aerobics in the pool & some relaxed fun on the beach!
