Besides the many trips to the museums and galleries of London, all pupils go on residential trips when in Years 5 and 6. In Year 5, pupils travel to Norfolk for a school week where they focus on science and geography related research around land and seascapes, fossils, and local wildlife.
In Year 6, pupils embark upon a trip to Spain where they enjoy cultural visits (and ice-cream!) discovering the different landscapes, customs and cuisine of another country.
For most of the pupils, this is their first trip abroad without their parents, encouraging a small step towards the confident personal autonomy which we would hope our pupils achieve as they move through adolescence.
