The Latymer Parents’ Gild was founded in 1945 and from the beginning it has played a crucial role in the fostering and strengthening of communications between parents and the School.
When children join the school their parents or guardians automatically become members of The Gild.
The Gild itself is run by a Committee along with representatives and deputies from each year group from both the Prep School and Upper School. The year group representatives and their deputies are elected at the beginning of each academic year at the Gild AGM. Each term the Gild runs one major social event which is open to all parents and details can be found in the News section.
All monies raised from these events are used to support the Trips and Activities Fund which exists to provide financial support for families who find the cost of school trips or tours beyond their means. Such support is provided on a confidential basis.
