Y5 trip to Ragged School Museum 2019

Year 5 stepped back in time today to 1889 to visit the original Thomas Barnardo Ragged School. They came dressed as very poor ragged school children and attended the terrifying experience that was Miss Perkins as she put them through their paces in a classroom workshop and they learned about life in a kitchen before our modern gadgets and technology. 

The children were all in agreement that although they loved the lesson, they wouldn’t like to attend school in 1889 every day!
