Celebrating World Book Day 2024

We celebrate World Book Day! Our school buzzed with excitement as children and staff arrived in a colourful array of book-inspired costumes.

The festivities began with a lively costume parade in the prep garden, where everyone proudly showcased their outfits. 

During break time, our book sale was a hit, with pupils eagerly browsing and picking up new adventures to dive into.

Lunchtime was a special treat with a themed menu that added an extra layer of fun to the day. The highlight of the celebration was a visit from best-selling mystery author Sophie Cleverly who captivated our students with stories about her writing journey and her books. The excitement reached its peak as she signed copies of her books, creating memorable moments for all.

What a fantastic way to wrap up a day dedicated to the love of reading and the magic of books! Our World Book Day celebration has been a resounding success.
