The Diana Award team has named Latymer Prep School its ‘School of the Month’.
This accolade recognises the work that the Anti-Bullying Ambassador team at Latymer Prep has been doing to promote promote positivity and creating lots of exciting opportunities for peer support in their school community. Latymer Prep was chosen from a pool of 1,000 active schools.
It comes in the same month that our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have earned their Wellbeing Badges! They did this by completing a range of actions that focused on promoting positivity and kindness. Actions included teaching pupils the difference between “snitching” and safely reporting bullying behaviour, creating a schoolwide ‘Anonymous Friend’ Campaign, and encouraging others to “reach out” in line with the theme of Anti-Bullying Week 2022.
“We loved how the team included the entire school community in their anti-bullying work and provided lots of different ways to get involved,“ said Rosanna, Programme Officer (Youth Development) at The Diana Awards. “We are so impressed with their hard work so far and cannot wait to see what amazing anti-bullying work they do next!” she added.
