Well done to our Y6 chefs who put their culinary skills to the test in the 'Latymer Masterchef' competition.
Having carefully planned their signature dishes they came together in the stunning new food tech rooms to cook an absolutely delicious selection of meals.
After our little chefs had finished, each of the dishes were anonymously judged by a panel of staff members, including Prep Principal. Mrs Rutterford, Mrs Ryrie, and Mr Mills.
Ms Rutterford announced the winners and runners up in each class. In 6M the winner was who impressed the judges with her lentil daal and seasoned bread dippers. In 6C, Allegra won 1st place, stunning the judges with her handmade ravioli filled with a delicate mushroom stuffing and served with a flavoursome sage butter.

"Congratulations to all our Y6 pupils," said Ms Rutterford. "All of the dishes were very impressive, and ranged from vegetarian chilli con carne to venison and asparagus. We are so proud of the efforts of all of the pupils and we can’t wait to hear what recipes they are making at home!"
