Year 5 trip to BFI

Year 5 children set off on 16^th January to the BFI to attend an all-day event called Dig for Victory, Run for Cover!

The sessions included films from the BFI National Archive showing everyday life for adults and children during the war, an informative talk from a former evacuee about his personal experiences of being a wartime evacuee and an afternoon screening of the TV feature film, Goodnight Mr Tom.
