What a fantastic time we all had on our Spanish Day. The children arrived looking fabulous in their colourful costumes. Excitement filled the air as our visitors, Carmen and Mani started their musical assembly. As the beat of the cajón sounded out, Carmen began showing us some of the intricate footwork involved in the fiery flamenco dance. During the day, all of the children had the chance to try out the cajón and flamenco dancing for themselves. We were so impressed with how quickly they picked up the tricky moves and with their impeccable behaviour. Further treats greeted us from Mrs Main's kitchen. Mouth-watering smells of her delicious paella cooking filled the school all morning. Finally, we were allowed to have our tasters, along with the dishes sent in by our generous parents, friends and nannies. They were all delicious. It was a fun-filled day and we all went home happy and exhausted! ¡Hasta la próxima!
