Well done to our Latymer Prep CWIZZ team who took part in the first ever West London branch of CWIZZ, a fun children’s literary quiz run by CWISL (Children’s Writers and Illustrators in South London). It was hosted at the Upper School and 22 teams of Year 6 and 7 children from West London schools took part, all keen to show off their literary knowledge in six rounds of book-related questions.
Our team of avid readers did themselves proud against stiff opposition. Between rounds children had the opportunity to meet local authors and hear “one-minute reads” from their books, and to win prizes, including signed books and author visits for their school.
After a close competition, Godolphin & Latymer emerged triumphant, while every team took home prizes and good memories of the afternoon.
