“Double, double toil and trouble’

Our Y6 pupils have been studying Shakespeare as their Spring topic so it was a real treat for them to go and see the bard’s words brought to life at a performance of Macbeth at the Globe Theatre. 

As well as watching a specially adapted performance of ‘the Scottish play’ the children got to go on a guided tour of the theatre and took part in a drama workshop activity. 

They had great weather for the trip and took in some of the iconic London sights on their travels - they particularly enjoyed the Millennium Bridge as you can see here!
